Haye Farm vegetable garden is approximately 3.5 acres, made up of a series of 80 metre beds rotationally planted. The vegetables are predominantly planted and harvested by hand using a combination of traditional and innovative organic principles to manage weeds and pests.
We host woofers throughout the year to assist with the varied responsibilites involved in managing a market garden. The produce is sold locally to restaurants and shops, including: River Cottage Head Quarters and The Pig at Combe, Millers Farm Shop, Halff, Axminster, Uplyme Stores and Musbury Garage. Our produce also goes to London restaurant, Petersham Nurseries as well as being sold in Oliver’s wholefoods, Kew and The English Butcher in Acton.
